Where are the 'Traps' and 'Puzzles' ???

One thing for me that made Elder Scrolls so special was exploring the dungeons/ruins. Not just because they were beautiful and sprawling, but (for me) I loved the fact I was pitting myself physically and mentally against the dungeon.

What the hell happened during the making of Elder Scrolls Online??? Did you guys forget the two main words in that title Elder Scrolls?
Where are the traps? Where are the puzzles (granted there are a few ESO dungeons that have some)... I WANT MY PUZZLES !

Simple things like pull lever A or B. Get it right you open the door, get it wrong you drop into a pit and have to make your way around again !

Find a door that apparently has no lock or handle to open it. Your stuck? Until you realise behind you is a ledge with a boulder on it. Push the boulder and it crashes into the door opening it.

You need a key that is down a well but you cannot reach it. But... once you open a valve to release water down a pipe the key floats to the top and enables you to get it.

Activating 3 stones in the correct order (that order shown on a wall or note). You did this in one of the Dominion dungeons/tombs. So why haven't you implemented this is many more of them???

The object needed to open the next room is in a hole in the wall, too small for you to get to it. Stuck? No.. because once you figure out that putting some meat/food on the floor will entice a rat/skeever to come for the food and drag the key with it (kill rat/skeever = get key)

Right that's 5 puzzles just off the top of my head and took me all of 5 mins to think up !

Traps...
Spike traps (already in Cold Harbour), foot plates, exploding containers/barrels, spiked doors, pit traps, ball and chain traps, levers that fire arrows

All I want (and I'm sure all our players want) is for dungeons to be more than simply run in, bash a few mobs, grab a skyshard and run out again !

Every single public dungeon in the game.

There are puzzles in the game, not many, but there are some.
Such as the one where you activate symbols in the right order, or the one where you choose the correct starsigns.

As for the puzzles you describe, I don't recall anything like them in TES games, TES puzzles tend to be choose the correct symbols in order, or press the buttons in sequence to align the dwemer array. Might be problematic for a multiplayer game.

Traps, there are spike traps and fire traps, not much of a trap really, but they are there. Oh and bear traps, found a few of them. Older TES traps were geared for single player games, and having them reset because it's an mmo would be annoying.

    I have to disagree.

There are fire walls and spike walls. These are not traps.

Traps, how do I put this... trap you. They are a surprise. You don't see them coming.
Oh and bear traps, found a few of them.

Yes, bear traps are a good example of traps, because they are at least slightly hidden.
Older TES traps were geared for single player games, and having them reset because it's an mmo would be annoying.

Traps in 4 man dungeons would not need to reset, but they would need to be random.

In open dungeons, if they were random, you would not know if they reset, because you would not know where they were.
