Add "Report Gold Seller" to Report Options!!!!

Why on earth isn't there an option to "Report Gold Seller" in the report function????

Also it would be a good idea while your tinkering with the report options to add
"Report Bot"

Surely that would assist you with the ongoing battle with the issue in that you don't have to read every "spam/cheating" report to find those nefarious a/c's...............

ZOS have done nothing to make reporting easier as the bot infestation has exploded.

Is advertising illegal in TESO ? I know excessive advertising, while afk must be against TOS, but speaking the truth here, then add button for reporting Vampire/WW/Motif sellers too. Non less annoying.

I agree with the OP but they don't care about the customers. Do what everyone else is doing. Cancel your subscription. Cancelled mine yesterday and if the game is still a mess after my game time runs out then I'm moving on to the next game.

I got those kind of advertising mail every second day. It doesn't matter, if they sell gold, motifs or legendary crafting material. They always want real money in change and thus it is against game rules.
I just want a button like "commercial seller" or something like that. I don't want to give a reason for reporting everytime. Just a screenshot and then send.

Um, really don't know what you're asking.

Patently 'trade shouts' isn't against the TOS, it's an expected method of trading in all MMOs with and without AHs.

You say you know it's not allowed .. 'illegal' doesn't come into it, this isn't a criminal offence .. to post while AFK (by definition that's "unattended play" so I guess you're asking if advertising an in-game service for an in-game reward is against the TOS.

Clearly it isn't otherwise ZOS would have taken action against 'biters' blackmailing bites long ago.

It is not an ingame service, there are people creating bots, farming gold and sell the gold for real money.

Nobody is talking about the standard WTS or WTB shouts in chat, this thread is about people, that exploid the game and destroy the ingam economics, by selling farmed gold for real cash on some third party site.

There is the option to "report spam" under the pull down. Hit that, type gold spammer, and include a screenshot (also an option right there with the reporting), make sure the spam is still visable in your chat window

Of course, yet this procedure is annoying when repeated every 3-10 minutes. A right-click option "Report Gold Seller" in the chat box with an automatically sent Screen-shot would not be a bad idea.

Slightly "off topic" for those who hate the spam sellers - head over to esoui.com and grab a "spam filter addon".

I personally use esoui.com/downloads/info211-X4DLibAntiSpam.html and it catches 99% of the crap

I am so sure people who talks about reporting options on this very forum have enough knowledge how to send a ticket. I assume they were asking a faster and more accurate option like, right click the name and report as gold seller.

If ZOS has an intention to help players who got frustrated, they could easily implement a sysytem, with one click, that sends auto screenshot and add to ignore list or even a system can lock zone chat of the account who had been reported if there are 10-20 or more reports. But as i said intention is the keyword here.
