Game has blocked me from making a payment... I'M DONE WITH THIS *** GAME!!!

Okay so today I notice I had to make a payment to keep playing so I went to change the payment method to my gaming debit card. So at first it was denied because it is in my wife's name and I didn't notice that you can't change the name on the payment method unless you change your account name. So I did that and now when I try to make a payment and add a new card, right when I click on VISA it brings up this stupid message and takes me to a whole new page: "The transaction was not authorized. Please check the provided information again or contact support at http://help.elderscrollsonline.com" I'm sure that all my details are correct and I even called the bank to make sure and they said nothing is going through on their side so this has to do with *** ass customer support on Zeni's side... I'm so tired of this ***, not only did they RUIN THE GAME and are barely fixing things to make it playable, now I can't even continue to play because they fail to have decent customer support or a working payment system. I'm done with this game, not going to sub every again.

    Did you try logging a support call with customer service?

    If the name or address has Unicode characters (accents etc) it will be declined.

    there are several threads about this..some dont go through at all and some has been charged double or triple times

    Did you try logging a support call with customer service?

    If the name or address has Unicode characters (accents etc) it will be declined.

    It doesn't everything is fine and in order so there is no reason it would be declined, unless they have some stupid ass anti-scam system where if you change your account name and try to use the credit card under that name it auto-declines.

    Try logging a ticket and press the phone option to get them to call you. They usually call pretty quickly. They likely can't fix on the phone but they may be able to escalate it for you.

    I'd rather not have some random person that doesn't even know proper English tell me that they can't do anything besides have someone else get back to me and end up telling me there is something wrong with my credit card, I just did my payment for all 3 of my Netflix accounts so I know it's working.

    I'd rather not have some random person that doesn't even know proper English tell me that they can't do anything besides have someone else get back to me and end up telling me there is something wrong with my credit card, I just did my payment for all 3 of my Netflix accounts so I know it's working.

    The customer services offices are Zenimax Baltimore and Zenimax Ireland.

    I understand this issue, but I was never even charged, it just declines my card and payment method. I've used the same debit card for all my online purchases and this is the first where it gets declined... Just LOL I'm done...

    I have made a subscription via PayPal.
    My paypal account is linked with my bank account and few days ago I was charged for 3 months of a sub, I can play normally.
    My guildie had same problem as you, then changed payment method to paypal and it worked like a charm.

    I can't use PayPal I live in a foreign country and it is really complicated to get PayPal setup in my country to work, also I've had issues in the past where money on my account would go missing with no explanation, I'd rather just use my debit card that I've been using for 10+ years.

    So my friend just came over and he agreed to let me use his PayPal monthly I just gotta give him the cash, so we tried it and even his PayPal was declined, Zeni really *** up this time LOL just pathetic...

    You need to have bank account with credit/debit card, then link it with paypal and it should work, unless there is something more that I don't know.
    Where do you live?
    Maybe there is problem in general about payments from your location or maybe someone from the forums live in your country and will be able to help you with a solution.

    Yup -had same, declined 3 times on the same visa that I bought the digital version with. I clear balance every month so no problem with funds, and they have record of use of card purchase with them.

    I think WTF is a pretty good summation.

    You're NOT alone in this. I have the same credit card info,etc. that I bought the early access with and it too was declined this morning.

    Zeni really has a knack for turning away customers.
