Maintenance for the week of October 5:
• [COMPLETE] ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – October 8, 8:00AM EDT (12:00 UTC) – 12:00PM EDT (16:00 UTC)
Putting aside all the negative issues (bugs, broken quests and so on) what is your favorite zone in terms on scenery / geography.
While I haven’t seen 100% of all the zones, so far for me it’s either a The Rift or Glenumbra. I just like the way both are laid out.

Alik'r desert. -It is the most open zone and a sandstorms look amazing .Pretty decent story. The cities are also very cool.
Stonefalls - I like the desolate wasteland feeling and it was the starting zone that made me like the game.
worst Rivenspire -No I do not want to be friends with a goody goody vampire that is a servant to Molag Ball. The zone also has an annoying layout and some of the most annoying bugs.
I only played AD so far, which isn't exactly spoiled with great area variety. My favourite area was actually the newbie starter island -- the Khajiiti architecture is easily my favourite (much better realized than the Dunmer architecture, which looks rather bland compared to Morrowind, or the Argonian "mud" huts, which seem to be made out of black plastic).
Mistral is also a pretty well laid out city with little to no traffic; I like to do all my crafting there.
Haven't been to all the zones yet (only VR3) but so far I think my favorite would be Grahtwood, I like the whole "deep, dark forest" vibe that it has going on.
I like the swamps of Shadowfen.
Maybe that's because I spend a really, really, really long time there finding all the quests and the place just grew on me.
I was breath taken by Grathwood the first time I saw it. The Elden Root area especially. Now that I'm there again with my alt, I still love it. Though now that I'm crafting clothing and woodworking on my alt, the freaking NPCs close to those stations are doing my head in ffs lol
Rebuilt - Aldmeri Dominion
Kaia Linnea - templar Ruusu - sorcerer Aino - nightblade
Stonefalls - Morrowind nostalgia central for me! When someone called me an 'n'wah' I was so happy!
Alik'r desert - I love the open feel and as someone already mentioned, the sandstorms are awesome. It's also giving me a new appreciation for the redguard people.
Auridon - just such a pretty place, I love to explore and take screenshots! Here is where I do most fishing, just so I can chill and appreciate the beautiful landscape around me.
Crazy Cat Lady.
Two hands working are more useful and productive than a thousand hands clasped in prayer.
May we live in interesting times.
Strok'mkai: Beautifull island. Desert sands, some green and nice town
Alik'r desert: Open desert and nice villages. Sand storm is awesome
Rivenspire: Dry dead land with some nice green area's.
Actually i like them all. Recently i arrived in Kenarthi roost (i finished main quest yay) and i kinda like it. I still like DC best since i tried all factions in beta.
But overall the entire game is beautifull. The details are so good.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

I've been traveling Tamriel A LOT since the dye patch, chasing achievements and fishing holes. I really appreciate how gorgeous this game is. I thought of creating a thread about favorite zones, and found this old thread. Some time has past since the last post here, which means more people have seen more zones. Maybe it's time to ask again, what's your favorite zone? For me, it's really tough to pick one favorite zone, because every zone is beautiful and has certain appeals. Ask me next week, or tomorrow, and I might have a different answer, but right now, the rocky rolling hills and open forests of the Rift are my favorite.
