that is not a boss lol its the mini boss . and yes i watched the video its over tuned trash that vampire. number two thighest sustained DPS a DK can do is stacking shield Bash gear and spamming that has nothing to do with our class its the broken melee line. the banner will be nerfed just like the sorcs ultimate was.Banner is the only thing over powered in the DK line. and the only reason he did any of that content was using DK Survivability. go ahead nerf the DK DPS . they should not be doing any DPS in my opinion in the class. it should come from the weapons line.but melee is so god damn broken its better to rely on your class for all your dps . the imbalanced untested endgame is the problem. Once the DPs is nerfed youll cry that DK 's can take to much damage.He also solo'd the boss and posted a video of him doing the same thing without using a banner. Did you even read this thread?
DKs are currently putting out the highest sustained single target and aoe dps.

NB does need a boost to sustained DPS i think the problem is in the weapon lines. Most of the dual wield tree is totally ridiculous. and melee click hits do nothing to help the rotation. 2h is not much better . bow is the prefered melee in end game VR so whats that tell you. Personaly i hope they push back craglorn and fix the broken stuff instead of nerfing the things that do work.

I dont have a templar or a nightblade, so I cant really speak how well they perform. But I'm pretty happy with our current state. DPS or tanking I think DK's perform really well on either of those roles depending on the player. I also disagree that DK's are only good at spamming shield bash.
VR9 DK Testing with green quality poorly itemized gear with exception of 2 purple firetooth swords. I don't normaly DPS since my main spec is tanking so I did screw up on my rotation several times. Also my dawnbreaker is not really leveled up yet to take advantage of the morph passive so I would say my spec isnt also optimized.
My rough estimate on a 1 minute fight ( no dps pots used or evil hunter )
- 600 DPS sustain without ultimate
- 800+ DPS with ultimate
- 912 DPS end result with some extra adds
- Someone better than me could probably pull 1k+ on that fight 1k+ dps
Pretty happy with the results. I could only imagine that once I hit VR10 with properly itemized purple/orange set gears and familiarize myself with the rotation, my dps will go up quite significantly. If your not happy with these numbers then I dont know what to say.

i m rank 150 dk tank . to fully self sustain do i need some magicka ??
i m still trying to figure out to :
1.go health regen path (healthy) and run from super and health pots (take more danage as dont block so much)
2.rely on heavy strikes (tanacyti) and run from bigger stam bar mayb magma armor (always blocking as i have 38/26 health/stam)at the mo (ganna take it down to 47/15))
3.this guy also using magika right? to sustain? (only magic thing i got is atronach as stone for mana regen)
what should i do
please help
