only enter the character ui, then loading ,then error(no error number,just "an error has occurred,plz wait...")I tried like 5 times!!!

disable your esohead addons if you have them, it only had this error on my main but I could not log onto it while those were enabled, I think theres an issue with the amount of data saved or some data corruption on the saved variables

My friend had the same problem. He disabled his addons and was able to login.

I had this exact problem. I tried everything suggested.

Disable addons
Adjust graphics
Reset proxy server
Repair
Delete launcher and reinstall it
etc.

Nothing worked except one thing

I completely uninstalled the game - not easy - as they have no uninstall except for the launcher. I had to manually go to the location of the Zenimax files in the program folder and delete them. Then go to the documents folder and delete all of those (save your addon folder somewhere).

Then I spent 3 hours letting the game completely reinstall from scratch. I did lose my PTS stuff - but pfft on that if it lets me play.

Game now plays like it did before the patch now. I have no lag on loading screens. I dont disconnect constantly with unspecific error telling me to try again in a few minutes. This tells me it is definitely their issue and not mine. I wonder if it has anything to do with my launcher having been geared for PTS?

Its a pain I know - and I pray I dont have to do this for future patches - but absolutely nothing else worked.
