Exclusive Fullscreen --> SLI/Crossfire

Is there already any word about exclusive full screen? I can remember multiple reddit posts from PTS users that the word is that exclusive full screen is coming, but I haven't read any ETA on this function so far.
When I read the official post from Matt it doesn't note exclusive full screen anywhere. Can a developer please elaborate on this? There are many SLI and Crossfire users waiting for the exclusive full screen mode in order to get there multi GPU setup working. Apart from the users, Nvidia and AMD are only telling us that they are in contact with the developer, but again no ETA. Please tell us more!
Note: don't link me the "fix". It is no fix. Alternate Frame Rendering is no fluid SLI experience.
