Experience increase for veteran zones?

I recall reading somewhere that ZOS plans to increase the amount of EXP you gain from killing monsters in veteran zones, but I did not see it mentioned (but instead somewhat denied) in the Reddit AMA, and I have been trying to find where I read it once but cannot find it. Does anyone know where they said that?

That would be nice (both to know and to have implemented).

Strange thing is when I hear about changes to the game, I immediately think how it will be exploited or used by bots and not how I (as a real player) might benefit from it.

Anyone else do that?

Currently I am at VR3 (just got it). I noticed that the XP requirement for the level is 1368000XP, and also have noticed that you get a full 42XP for killing same lvl mobs. If I work this out, to lvl by strict grinding, I would be required to kill approximately 32571 mobs. Now lets say we average one kill per minute (as we have to wait for spawn times, moving around, and so on), that is 542.8 hours of killing, or, 22.6 straight day of killing. If the average player plays 3 hours a day, that is a mere 180 days, to lvl from VR3 to VR4 just grinding.

Is that completely unacceptable? To some perhaps. To others, maybe not.

Lets say they gave 1000XP per kill for a mob at same lvl. That would be 1368 mobs, at the same kill rate, would be 22.8 hours, and for a average of three hours a day, 7.6 days (lets round that to 8 for argument sake).

That is a much more tolerable rate I would think, as the required xp appears to go up by approximately 350000XP each level, which would increase the required time sync each level (approximately 5.8 hours more each lvl). At a rate such as that from VR1 to VR10 would take approximately 309.6 hours of game play, killing one mob every minute. For an average player, that is 103.2 days (just over 3 months).

I won't even attempt the math for only 42XP per kill, it is too painful to consider.

Grinding mobs is not how the developers wish you to spend your time, they want you to quest over and over again. Too which, there isn't enough quests to lvl you for the XP given per quest, you also are expected to do ALL dungeons, named mobs, Daedre (sp?) portals and yes, you better do a little grinding also, else you will be behind the eight ball in no time.

Have fun is the main goal, whichever method you choose.

You can earn up to Veteran Rank 12 as you continue your adventures in Craglorn. Additionally, the veteran XP earned from killing enemies has more than doubled.
