VR1, VR5 purple recipes

Do they exist? I've never looted one, never seen one being sold and haven't seen people talking about them.

I have 2x blue VR5 recipes, I actually found so many of them that they all sit in my guild bank for anybody to use. No purples... Am I missing something?

They exist. They're just incredibly rare (as the purple coloring would imply).
