I simply cannot believe how incompetent this whole franchise is being run.

You have a GREAT thing, which is the world of Tamriel and the whole line of awesome games with awesome lore.
Every day, I log on to have fun and experience this.
But... EVERY DAY you try to RUIN my experience with crappy server handling and crappy customer support and crappy maintenance hours.

It's just so frustrating, when all I really wanna do is like you and your game. You're making it so hard :-(

Yes, but his truth is a whine. There are tons of problems in ESO right now. I think you'll find people will be a whole lot more sympathetic to people who rage about specific issues rather than posting generic "this game sucks" comments, as demonstrated by the hundreds of topics discussing ongoing issues.

I'm basically reminded of this.

Come on people. I am an a veteran MMO player and a supporter of Zenimax but its becoming a little excessive now this downtime (7 Hours this one) and we are over a month into launch.

of course he is going to whine, so will a lot of people. Its been like 6 hours now (roughly) and still no game time.
I mean, they haven't even posted a reliable update to keep us informed of what's happening and an ETA for possible server up !

There is only so much I can let pass before I have to admit the truth. Amateurish handling of the game and servers. I have tried to stay positive but a month into the game release and not many fixes or polish of the core gameplay.

If you are a what i would call a veteran MMO player, i.e. one who has played multiple mmo's over many years.
I.e my first MMO was UO and have played Everquest 1 and 2, WoW, WHO, RIFT, SWTOR, GW and GW2 to name a few

Then you would know that ESO has no more problems than any new MMO.
In fact it has had a lot fewer problems than most of the other so called AAA MMO's i've played.

As an example WoW was still experiencing multiple downtimes per day 3 months after launch. Some due to patchs and some due to server crashes

Thou i do admit Zens communication could be better, but is no worse than most

Even if they are amateurish, i'm happy to support them to become better with my money and patience, because i like their attitude to game and fans.

Well considering my internet connection is better than 95 percent of Germany, and I get 160ms - 600 ms lag to the "EU" servers being located in TX, I highly doubt it is a "niche" set of players having really bad lag. It is the majority, and I would actually say it is a "niche" set of players NOT having problems.
