We all know how weird the ESO Economy is.
I am in a Trading guild where I buy and sell things, but it still feels awkward.
This solution would give Guild's a great way to showcase them self's and creative players a chance to really bring ESO to life. It Would also give guilds another Goal to work for and possibly create a new crafting skill line.
When a guild gets the prerequisite number of players to open a guild shop, give them the opertunity to "Rent" a piece of land. This will become the guilds Home - a place where the guild can set up player shops or a central NPC Bazzar. They could build Houses and decorate according to their taste.
-Edit: An instanced piece of land, but any player in that faction could travel there.
Decorations/Houses/Vendor Stands could be craft'able and place'able like the siege equipment in Cyrodiil. Houses could be decorated and perhaps a safe place to keep items (other than bank).
The guild/players would have to pay a price in Gold for upkeep. The guild would have to "rent" the land from their faction leadership. And each player would then pay a fee on his home/shop or it be destroyed. This way non actives wont clutter up the instance.
I feel player creativity is what makes a truely great MMO. The fact players can create such great addons is allready huge. Being able to create a guild Home/Village/Trading Market would be an awsome step in the right Direction. NO AH, but still able to compare prices, Great crafters can make a name for themself. Creationists can create an awsome guild HQ. A potential new crafting tree for decorations
