Help a brotha out here - (PvP folks mostly, chime in if you're PvE)

Ok so let me be straightforward here in saying that i have no idea what the lore is of ESO and its related games so automatically im a little lost in the world, however im learning a little bit. However, that is all irrelevant to what i really am wanting to know but i thought i'd preface by saying that and that i have not played anything close to an mmo like this since possibly WoW years and years ago?

So questions are as follow:
1. What Add-ons are going to benefit me most in PvP and some of the PvE content. Stuff im looking for is damage/threat/heal meter/parses, detecting friendly and enemy targets easier, detecting enemy healers easier, etc... I know some of that may not exist for this game and quite frankly makes the game too easy for pvp at that point, but if its out there, might as well use it right?

2. Where can i find a nice leveling guide as far as obtaining quest in certain zones or whatever for my level and how to most efficiently level. (Lets be honest, i just wanna hit cap and PvP then level more toons later).

3. Are there any vendors/merchants that i can go to in any zones/parts of my current zone that sell gear to upgrade throughout my questing. I ask because im rolling a sorc dps and not sure how to gear really and im getting rocked sometimes by mobs higher than me by a level or 2 (which i think i should be able to handle right if i have "skill"?).

And that sums it up. I know, lots of noob questions but so far im enjoying the game, i just wanna catch up since i just started yesterday literally.

1. The 'WarLegends' addon gives you raw numbers for stats for yourself and enemies, though I personally think it's kinda ugly. There's another one that lists stuff like how much damage you've done for a hit in floating text whilst you fight. I think it's called PL_combat Indicator or something? Though I could be mixing that up with another.
2. Dunno. I generally just do everything, but I'll grant there may be faster ways. Completing the final installment of a big quest chain usually gives a big pile of xp, but's possible just repeatedly grinding monsterss could theoretically be faster in a long-term sense.
3. There are merchants in each city that can sell you basic gear that is appropriate for your level, though it is usually fairly simplistic, being without traits or enchantments. If you want good gear, you either need to get it as quest rewards, craft it yourself, or get it through a guild bank/store. You can also get items from PVP, but unless you're running with really active groups, you probably won't get them very often.
Also, trying to fight enemies 2 levels above you is not a winning way to play. Sure, skill CAN allow you to beat them, but you are still innately disadvantaged. All it takes is a mispressed button, a moment of distraction, or an enemy mob spawning at just the right time to leave you in a hopelesssly bad situation. There's really nothing worse than knowing you're trapped and pretty much doomed to die.

1. Foundry Tactical Combat will allow you to see your buffs with timer, debuffs on you, incoming damage/heal and your damage. No addon will show medics in PVP with red cross and ''Kill me first'' txt above their heads

2. Not sure about leveling guides, not using them, best is to explore and find quets, which often are in caves, starts with drops from mobs etc. No real ''quests hubs'' in ESO, but i think you may try Dulfy.net for it, at least it has quests listed for each area, skyshards maps, POI maps etc etc.

3.Vendors selling gear exist in every town, look for armorers and weaponsmith, and magus in Mage Guild halls(those sells jewelery and staffs which should be important as you want sorc)
Also in Cyrodiil there are vendors which will sell you gear for AP(Alliance Points) but it is a gamble, you can just choose big(chest, legs) or small(head, shoulders, boots, gloves) armor, or just staff(fire, lighting, healing). Same with weapon, only option is 1h/2h and you never know what you will get.
Want good gear with traits useful for your character-start crafting. Best way for cheap, and good quality gear.

I have a friend in one of my guilds who is into the power leveling thing to get to end game and he is a huge fan of http://www.zygorguides.com I do not use them my self but they do offer a free sample of their addon that covers the 3 three starting islands so up to level 6 I guess. Do everyone a favor if you like guides and post a review of which one you went with and how well it went.

There seems to be a lot of folks into power leveling given the numbers at the cap so quickly... Me my toons are all 8 to 11 as I am leveling 8 at the same time 4 (one of each) in the AD and 2 each in the other factions and since I loot every loot able thing I find and read every book and sing every song I find it will be a very long time before I get to the cap if ever.... I am all about the journey
