Progress in main story blocked by bug - RESOLVED

I was on the quest The Final Assault and was at the point where you have to choose a companion to help you. I needed to repair so I teleported to The Hollow City wayshrine, repaired, then teleported back to the nearest wayshire to the quest (Reaver Citadel Wayshrine). However when I attempted to get back to the quest there was a door that I couldn't get past because I couldn't interact with it. It was the door where you previously had to fight groups of mobs until you could get through it earlier in the quest. Location shown below:


This blocked my progress as there was no other way round. So I decided to abandon the quest and try again. However now I can't find the quest giver. I'm sure I picked it up in The FIghters Guild Hall in The Reaver Citadel, however I can no longer enter that building.

Has anyone had this bug before and do they know how to get round it? If not I need a GM to sort this out since I can no longer complete the main story!

Update: Customer support has contacted me saying that I can talk to King Dynar outside the Citadel to get the quest again, however when I talk to him there is no option to re-take the quest. If there is any GM reading this post then can I get a response on how to reset the quest since this has pretty much put my character's progression on hold.

Also what is the point in putting "If your issue has not been resolved, you can respond directly to this email." in your customer support emails when you don't respond to replies. Three times now I have replied to customer support emails and not once have I got a response.

The NPC's where you choose one is up by that wayshrine. They're waiting to talk to you by the shielded gateway.

I can't get to the NPCs where you choose a companion because the door leading to that area won't open. Also I don't have the quest anymore which is what I am trying to sort out now.

Ask a friend who can go there to enter then teleport to him. Might work

Just in case anyone else gets stuck on this here is how I got the quest again.

There is a hidden passage to the right side of the door that I couldn't get through. I have no idea why I can't go through the door like I did previously but at least there is another way round. Here is where the passage is:



Once you get through you can either continue with the quest or retake the quest from the NPCs further up the road.
