Seems every second person is a effing bot in this game and every day I play I get spam mail from these low life scum gold spammers.Add ons don't fit it!

I have had it - time to call it quits as its just making me mad as hell that it can carry on like it is with next to nothing being done.

MMO's in my experience are the worst type of game to get involved with.

This is the kind of thread that is making the community look bad. There have been numerous threads on this issue already and ZOS has come on these threads and assured us bots are being eliminated. Give Zenimax some time; they are clearly not ignoring the issue.

They're actually doing something about gold spammers. There was 2 whole days without a single spam in stonefalls. Then they started up again, but not as badly.

Relax, it will get figured out. Games should not stress people out. Treat it as the spam you get in your email or the sales calls on your phone. I am sure you didn't quit those pieces of technology. As I know you can spam and get yourself on the do not call list, but that doesn't stop the flood of them coming in anyways.

Breathe, reevaluate priorities and try to see it as recreational time to let lose some steam. Don't let these 2 silly points ruin all the other good aspects the game has to offer.

It is getting a little better already. No spam in chat anymore for one. Rarely get gold emails anymore. Now they need to tackle the bots a little more aggressively than before.

All things considered, 3 weeks after release is pretty damned quick to get on top of these issues (issues that every new release MMO in the history of MMO releases has had).

Its not just the chat spam, I wont speak for the OP but go to any public dungeon and look at the huge group of bots just waiting for spawns to auto kill. It seems to be completely ignored when its so easy to just observe and ban any bots found there.

That being said if you aren't happy then don't pay for it and go elsewhere. It is your choice.

Zenimax are idiots. They are banning the characters, then giving 2 days bans to each bot account. So, after 2 days, they can create new characters on the same accounts. It's pretty pathetic.

I always get at least 1-2 every time I log into the game.

But improvements have been made.

Come on now. I've been playing every moment I could since pre-release and it's not nearly as bad as you make it sound. Just delete the spam and report the player, move on. As for bots, yeah they ruin public dungeons and if you're really unlucky they'll be teleporting around the map you're on and swiping your resources at times, but all-in-all you can avoid them if you find them so intolerable.

As for nothing being done, now that's just as untrue as it gets.

But hey, if this is your first mmo then maybe you're finding out that they just aren't for you. If so, then at least you gave it a try. Good luck in your future playing.

I have to admit at the time of making this post I was overly tired and took my frustrations out on game ... I am in NZ and I sometimes see these bots everywhere I quest and it can be incredibly annoying when you see a node and no one else around and go to farm it and it disappears and you're like WTF - then you see an underground bot farming all the nodes around you. Pretty impossible to screen shot that has it happens so fast - ya know "blink and you miss it?"

No,this is not my first MMO - I really enjoy playing games that continue to bloom with updating content - I have no issues paying for this. What I do have issues with is people who have a common disregard for rules ToS - and yep I prolly broke one or two myself so I am not perfect. BUT I don't cheat - I really REALLY get ticked off by those that do - you wanna reach into your monitor and do ungodly things to these no good yadda yadda.

I'm not a people person LOL and I over react sometimes and yes I need to calm down.
