Very limited inventory/bank, high gold costs to expand, not level locked.
It's basically a perfect storm of making it hard to control bots whilst ensuring there is demand for their services. You could hardly design it better if you were a gold seller.
Makes me wonder how many of the industry reviewers that complained about lack of open world exploration due to being stuck on the starter island were the ones that advertise gold selling on their sites. -

Sounds like something a Botter would say, I bet if they stop taking money from them and actually banned these accounts that the problem wouldn't be so bad. And just because they respond doesn't mean the bots are going away anytime soon...they make money on all those accounts. The problem is they don't realize how many people will quit over it, soon it will be just bots and the few Die Hards that will defend a broken game because they are epic White Knights

ESO requires a payment to play, If the user cheats then that's their
thought.
They are aware of the damage bots are having on the player base &
remember they keep good eyes on our feedback.
Within the time they manually investigate a macro or the use of bots
offence another takes It's spot, they do not allow anyone to cheat
cause they pay game time, and It shows they are fighting these bot
company's with a fast response to our reports.
You can report a user who is violating a code of conduct in-game help
feature where applicable or you may contact Customer Service directly

Unless they recently fixed it(last 6 months), WoW has some pretty serious botting issues in their battlegrounds. The bots even learned to attack other players and use some of their abilities (though still pretty obvious they are bots). Ive heard some claim that in the 40v40 AV matches that they think at least half are just botters.
Of course, botting is going to be high right now in ESO. New game, lots of new players to sell gold too, they gotta get in early to build up their cash reserves to handle player demand before the banning starts.
