Not exactly sure what is going on here but there are level 5 bots literally teleporting/flying in, disappearing, reappearing, rinse and repeat. Whatever is going on here is NOT Legit and I cannot get a GM to respond to me.

They're snap completing quests. I'm not sure if it's for gold or for the XP, but they're either powerleveling to advance into later dungeons or gearing accounts up to be sold at a later date.

Aye, it's happening everywhere. they are nearly too quick to report as well. Only visible for a moment as they interact with the environment.

Cool. What is so interesting right there that they want to be there?

I just finished some lvl 45'ish quests in coldharbour. I entered the library of dusk and noticed all of these obvious bots with names like Ffedxaw, aaiobced, ccnoiexa, etc. etc. They would instantly port to certain spots within the library. They were all level three.I followed them around for a while, curious.

I finished with the questing inside and it ended up with me outside and I had to talk to Telenger the Artificer to finish the quest. Right in front of where the Artificer is standing, bots would just suddenly appear and had in the quest and "ding" level 4. I sat there for a little over 30 minutes. I wanted to get an average of how many were doing this, because it was every few seconds they would pop in and level right in front of the NPC. It was disgusting to see. I counted all the bots in 5 minutes. I did this 6 times. I got 58,57,58,57,54,58. That is an average of 57 "bots" in 30 minutes.

The people in zone chat said it's been happening all day for days. I can only assume they were telling the truth.

An average of 57 bots in 30 minutes.
    114 in an hour
    1368 in 12 hours
    2736 in 24 hours.

That's just in one small area. That is but just a fraction of what is really happening.

The numbers don't lie. If you think of this on a grand scale then it becomes disgusting. Good luck Zenimax, but the numbers on this are not on your side.

Typical gold spammer names on those players that are doing the speed teleport in this video. All the gold spam I seen in zone chats has been from players with names such as Zsdfufs or Wrkrkrdukk.. just a random mumbojumbo of letters. Just like in this video.

Would not surprise me if they are doing it for both gold and XP and then trying to sell the gold for real Money.

At this moment, in and around Run's Inn in Rivenspire, the place is infested with bots logging in and out. They are all wearing level 0 Coldharbour clothing. I presume, as others said here, they have new random characters doing parts of this quest in a loop. The expression "Exploiting" or cheating is kind to describe this type of scheme.

How are the crates, desks, barrels, wardrobes, and etc in that area? I noticed on EU side all baby towns are depleted of items in these. Every now and then my newbie character can pick a few. I think they are doing the invis trick to loot these items as well. Haven't noticed it on the American side because my fiancé and I usually just quest our level 32s.

Those are all instanced to the player. Only chests, crafting nodes, heavy sacks, and water nodes are up for grabs.

This is a bit confusing, if you counted all the bots in 5 minutes, and got 57, that is 57 bots every 5 minutes, not every 30 minutes.

It seems that each of these items are lootable so many times per hour (random pick of time). Once they are looted the amount they are allotted to be looted, they remain empty until a time has past.

I use to think this also that it was per person. But I am more logical incline to solve equations and puzzles. I couldn't quite get that if I hadn't played for this many hours why everything was completely empty. So when partied with my fiancé I watched. In higher areas we would collect from these items, but sometimes if my fiancé reached let's say a wardrobe and looted it, I would then follow and looted it also..it was empty. I tested this for 3 days. It appears that these items are not per person, but as I stated above.

To further my experience. I had not been on in two days. I went into babyland town on a new character and nothing was lootable in EP. So I created a new toon and got the same results..why I stated what I stated in previous post.

Yeah, I noticed this too. I sent in a complaint on one of the bots with a screenshot, but who knows what good that will do. This area also managed to hard crash my game twice. Related? Think I'm going to take a break and clean my apartment, on my gaming day.

This is interesting, especially if they appear to be auto generating in a certain spot. Would be interesting to have a GM there and see how far it goes as he starts banning.

Maybe, not really sure this is their spawn site. I know I witnessed a bot die in a dungeon and come back by rising through the ground. And yes I mean literally rising up from the ground.

    What the actual crap?

And before someone starts crapping on showing names, due to the way the targeting system works with the crosshair it's almost impossible to move around while filming and not getting a character in your crosshair showing a name.

I noticed that some came half through the ground as well in the hour I spend reporting them.
some were even floating and the spash sound of water went as the appeared.
The inn in fell's run is full of them as well as Gavendien's house (or something along those lines) Thats where I camped the hour reporting them at least, but certainly the spot to be for GM's if they want to investigate

I actually did a quest here a few days ago - I saw something like 50 bots while doing the one quest. It was pretty funny, I just ignored it.
