I had trouble with him the first time. So I logged out for about an hour came back and repaired my gear. Went back in and using only block as my only defense I worked his hp off slowly. I avoided all the red and kept HP pots as my back up heals. I also ate stamina regen food before the fight. If I recall correctly his ranged attack does more damage then his melee attack. The key here is to play it safe and just work him down between his skills.

I had trouble with this quest too. I am a light armor primarily healing sorc, I had a lot of trouble. Struggled with the skeletons right before him.

I took a couple days away from him, came back with a new strategy and it worked. Molag Bal really isn't tough if you keep moving and dodge his powered up attack. The Titans are no big deal since your "Enhanced" left click attack will pretty much one shot them. Remember to block and dodge, keep a few potions of your choice on your quickslots so you can hop to them if you need to.

Remember to utilize your ultimate ability and any buffer skills you have -- For me, it was my Clannfear.

Just take a couple days away from the game and come back with a cool head. I practically ragequit but it wasn't the game that was flawed, it was my strategy. I didn't change too much except one or two skills (That were in the exact same tree I had been using.)

Make sure your armor and weapon are proper for your level and glyphed, it will help.

Depends on class. something is terrible wrong tho. you suppose to be able to parry he glow ball .. but i take to much dmg

i cant really care less about bla bla 1337 players opinions. go play some single player boss fight fun game. i just want the pvp ..

if that is my choice should not be punished by doing all this boring *** to Main quest that lockes everything out from me. imo its really stupid.

who ever came up with that Bright idea should be fired at the spot.

I suggest you go play a different game, or at least open your eyes/mind, because you're not listening to the simple and often insightful advice that people are offering you.

If you cant beat an automated character that uses the same repetitive moves every pull then you aren't going to enjoy PvP much either.

I am a medium armor Nightblade and I was seriously disappointed with the Molag Bal fight... I don't think I walked around or kited him at all. I blocked his big attacks and side-stepped the ones you can't block. My health stayed between 85-100% the entire time. I'm not sure why it was so easy for me, but it was definitely not the challenge I was expecting going into it.

I have run into a few quest bosses that were very hard, Molag Bal wasn't one of them.

If you are having problems with him you're too low level, end of story.

Ulvish - That sux imo. its a ridiculous main story. it not suppose to be hard.
And there were nothing hard before him, maybe some small buggs here and there. I think the main scene were i split him in 1000 pieces should be enough as a main story. the battle is not even necessary.

i spend 40 health pots. i avoided all *** possible with him. if i parry, he kill me.
the blocking part is ether bugged because it damn not work.

it depends who i sacrifice ? i took the ugly beard guy. sai kan or what hes name was.

Well i´m still against locking out normal maps with main quests.. if some one wan´t to do it. fine. if some one don´t .. should be fine also.

im seriously finding this post hard to believe this fight is pretty easy as long as you follow the ingame prompts... and hes the endgame boss he should be harder than the usual mob trash fight,,, I have a feeling the original poster is one of these stand in the fire type from all other mmos then qq at healers for letting them die

these are the 1337 players that is so annoying.

Guess what. i probably played games before you dad even had a thought to even consider an ugly baby like you. :disappointed_relieved:

And i been in real and game elite guilds so what do you know about ppl before open your mouth.

for some reson i cant beat this boss. i use my bow like i did the whole game. kiting and running away. but i cant avoid anything. the damn bolts are heat seeking missiles. i cant avoid for ***.

All i run "Before" molag was super easy. didn´t have a single problem with any of the boss fight. kinda depends who you are and maybe what build / specc / gear you have hu ??? who are you to say whats hard or not. it depends on who you are.

im a vamp. so the fire thing isn´t really my thing here. i take way to much dmg to survive long enough.
