As everyone knows, it takes increasingly longer time to research traits.
With some skill point investments one can unlock 2nd and 3rd research slots.
It makes sense that a master-crafter is skilled and dedicated enough to study several traits at the same time.
But what if that crafter focuses all his attention on only 1 trait at a time, but studies several items with it.
In terms of game mechanics, I think it would be fitting, if the remaining research time was reduced by 25% for each additional slot used for the research.
Thus researching the same trait in all 3 slots would effectively cut the research time in half.
This won’t remove the global time sink – people will still have to unlock all the other traits in their own turn.
But this would allow us to get some particular traits a bit faster in case if it’s needed.
