Suggestion: Reduce time for simultaneous research of the same trait

As everyone knows, it takes increasingly longer time to research traits.
With some skill point investments one can unlock 2nd and 3rd research slots.

It makes sense that a master-crafter is skilled and dedicated enough to study several traits at the same time.
But what if that crafter focuses all his attention on only 1 trait at a time, but studies several items with it.

In terms of game mechanics, I think it would be fitting, if the remaining research time was reduced by 25% for each additional slot used for the research.
Thus researching the same trait in all 3 slots would effectively cut the research time in half.

This won’t remove the global time sink – people will still have to unlock all the other traits in their own turn.
But this would allow us to get some particular traits a bit faster in case if it’s needed.

    It is obvious, since the beta days, that this was done intentional, so that you will keep researching and learning traits for months to come. Not do everything in 24 hours....
    mDKs still need a lot of love!

    I don't think anybody that has been painstakingly researching items since release would appreciate a subsequent decrease in research time. If any changes were to ever effect research times, those changes should have been made prior to release. That being said, I like that it currently takes time & requires the players to make some decisions as to which items they focus on.

    You know a game being a challenge is what has drawn people to playing this game.

    So no leave it as it is, make people think or trade items to get the traits they want, then worry about the rubbish ones later on.

    Well, changes in skill learning times were happening even in EVE Online, if you know what I mean.

    I realize that it’s pretty challenging to press the research button and go about your business. A kind of challenge not everyone is able to accept.

    But this change won’t undermine anyone’s achievements and time investments.
    Actually it would increase, not reduce, overall time sink.

    For example, let’s say I have 3 traits, and each would take 4 days to research.
    Currently, after patiently waiting for 4 days I will have all 3 of these traits researched.
    With the change I propose, in the same 4 days I will have researched only 2 traits (instead of 3), but each would take me only 2 days (instead of 4).

    The main benefit would be for those people who, for one reason or another, researched “wrong” traits first.
