Massive FPS boost after patch?

Hi guys,
I just installed the new patch and the game now runs a lot better. No more stuttering but a constant FPS of at least 40 in cities and 60+ in the open world. No more FPS drops. I play on ultra of course.
There was nothing written in the patch notes, but its a huge improvement.
For reference,
I run the game on a 2500k with 8 GB Ram and a 6970.
As I didn't do anything to my system, its either their client or the server which isn't busy right now (EU).
With all the blame ZO got lately, it might be nice to read something positive as well

What new patch? I load the client and nothing downloads?
I'm desperate for a performance increase.
