Randomly my screen will turn green tinted except what ever my target is. Any ideas?

Do you have a screenshot of this that you could share? That will help us in figuring out what might be the issue.

Oh. I know why. You can see, in the background, there are people with a plague. I suspect you need to complete that quest, cure yourself of the plauge and you'll be fine.

Lol what? So, you're saying this is the affect of some sort of quest that you need to complete before this 'green vision' goes away? Never heard of anything like it.

:O lots of trolls in here. Seems kinda strange. Are your video drivers up to date? Not sure if that would be the cause, but it's always good to keep them up to date if they arent.

Pretty sure that quest doesn't do that. (SPOILER ALERT) There is actually no plague in the quest, it's a vampire.

Attention Zenimax: Stamina builds don't hold up to magicka builds, and this is causing most of your class imbalance. It makes melee weapons and bows weaker than staves and class abilities. It makes medium and heavy armor less desirable than light armor. Fix this imbalance, and you'll address most of your balance issues.

@secretsquirrel956‌ - After some investigation, it looks like something that will need a bit more 1-on-1 troubleshooting. A support agent will be in touch with you via e-mail shortly.

It looks like one of the lighting effects is screwed up. I would try adjusting your video settings to the bare minimum and then revert back. Worth a shot while you wait.

Also restart your PC for good measure if you haven't.

Seems like a random texture error of some sort. I've had similar effects happen in other games, always a green coloring, that I generally fix by restarting the game and/or the PC.

It's not something that can generally be reproduced on demand though, so I've no idea what causes it, beyond maybe the GPU and/or client having a brain fart.

Most of the time, for me, it appears as a green 'dome' effect centered on my character that moves where I move. Everything within a few yards of the character is normal, everything outside of that radius is green.

Hasn't yet happened in ESO for me though.

I had this same problem. Spent HOURS and HOURS installing this, trying that. Changing settings, one at a time etc etc. You all know the drill, we've all been there. So I wanted to say.... THANKS!!! I read your post, I went into the game and VOILA!!! it works. I unchecked it, and the green returned, enabled distortion again, and it went away. thank you so much for your post. I wanted to comment so maybe others having a similar problem might try this option.
