Infinite Loading Screen

Hello, I just bought ESO and downloaded it on my Windows 7 computer completely launched it logged in, watched the intro cinematic and moved onto a loading screen. That loading screen never ended, I sat and waited 30 minutes and nothing. I downloaded ESO on my Windows 8.1 computer and I had the same issue. So it seems I spent 65 dollars on a game that won't run. From reading other posts it seems people have been having problems with infinite loading screens, but I cant even get into the character screen... Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?

    Well, contact support would be favourite?

    PS Try not to get angry - it will only pxx off the people who try to help you.
    - It's a new game and there's a lot of work involved.
    - If we still have problems in 6 months THEN is the time to get angry.

    Hi, I have the same problem right now.

    I had it last night and that led to a second problem of continual login failure. Maybe tech support can get ahead of the game and fix this now.

    Currently speaking to support hopefully they can help resolve my issue and I reset one of my computers to factory settings and I am reinstalling ESO. I am not angry only a bit frustrated and sad. Hoping support can help.

    This is happening to a large amount of players right now. It has been most prevalent since the patch last week, although it has existed on a smaller scale since beta. Since the patch, it has become a widespread problem and Zeni has acknowledged that they are aware of it and are working on it, but they have not announced a solution patch at this time. It happens whenever you have to log into anything, whether loading from zone to zone in game, or logging into the game itself. Several players have suggested fixes, and some of them do somewhat work, but they are only temporary. I have tried most of them, and they will work for a few hours, but then the infinite loading comes right back. At this point, it's pretty obvious that this is an issue on Zeni's side, and they have even acknowledged it as such, and we just have to wait for them to fix it.

    With any luck, it won't take too much longer, because the game is quickly becoming unplayable like this.

    So we should pay them to keep up this quality of programming for half a year before thinking twice about getting what we paid for?

    "fix": End the game and the launcher complete. retry. Up to 2 x.
    It isnt fixed since beta now.

    So I have been struggling to get ESO to work, have been speaking to support since the 20th via email. After several emails on suggestions to get it work, finally someone replied saying that my graphics card wasn't good enough to run ESO.
    I kind of find that hard to believe, I will link my specs for everyone to see for themselves:
    Operating System: Windows 8 64-bit (6.2, Build 9200)
    AMD Radeon HD 6300 series Graphics
    System Manufacturer: TOSHIBA
    System Model: Satellite C855D
    Memory: 4096MB RAM
    Available OS Memory: 3678MB RAM

    I came to a point where it was just wasting my time and I was getting no where with support. Went to check my bank balance and found that they charged my account twice for the game. $119.98 taken out of my account and the $14.99 for the sub...

    Needless to say I have been emailing support AGAIN trying to get my entire refund.. Haven't heard from them since last night. Its a new game yes it will have its problems. But this is ridiculous, I will definitely not reccomend this game to anyone and I don't plan on ever playing it. Rather unfortunate since I enjoyed Bethesda's games very much..

    Such a bad luck. I had good experience with support. Loading screen bug happens to me as well, but I just alt+F4 and run the game again. SSD disc is fast so I am not troubled by this. Only objection I have was sub fee straight from activation of the game.(money are in reservation) It should be applied after first trial month not earlier. In overall I am happy with their approach and that they fix issues as they appear and support acts quickly so far.
