How long after ban lift before re-activation?

How long after a ban lift, before an account is re-activated? I received my apology email about 4 hours ago, but still get "account suspended" upon trying to log-in. (Strangely enough my forums rights are back again.)
I had hoped that account re-activation would be quick, but I'm beginning to wonder if maybe someone forgot to "flip the switch" after sending me the email.
Here's what was in my email: "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this misplaced ban has caused you. However, I am happy to tell you that the ban on your account has been lifted. There will be no disiplinary actions on your account and your remaining game time will be unaffected."
Anyone else affected by this?
Can anyone report on how long before re-activation?
