I think the support here is tremendous. Replies have always been fast (Within the hour) and I won't forget the one occasion I requested a phone call and the support representative was was American, not outsourced to Asia. At all times the support has been A grade for me. I'm not trying to criticize you, but maybe try to be mature, respectful and as specific as you can within your support tickets. This will hopefully speed up the resolve in any issues you have.
More on topic, I think that there is no problem requesting an email change via ticket. If I ever needed something to be solved fast, I would request a phone call.

It really blows my mind that so many people have been having issues with support when at best they reply within 5 minutes for me. Longest being a little over 3 hours but that was for technical support.
