You guys need to give us the option to change our own Email, with out having to open a ticket and ask you. this is a joke, I can't believe you even set it up like that. I shouldn't have to wait two weeks just to change an email because your customer support is so slow.

    It would just encourage people stealing accounts, unless ZOS have something like steam's system sending randomised security digit to former email making sure owner did changes and not some pesky hacker.

    Why do people feel the need to be so rude in their posts? I mean instead of screaming bloody murder why not just make a suggestion nicely? I swear this is the worst community in a game I have ever seen. Every little problem is the end of the world.

    I wasn't being rude. This is a default option in all pay to play mmos as well as free to play. If you think this community is bad you must not be an mmo player welcome to the lovely world of official forums.

    It will neither encourage or discourage hacking accounts, thats the risk you take when you do any thing on the internet.

    Its a huge priority and a massive security risk for various reasons, it's also bad business to make your customers wait weeks just to change their email.

    I think the support here is tremendous. Replies have always been fast (Within the hour) and I won't forget the one occasion I requested a phone call and the support representative was was American, not outsourced to Asia. At all times the support has been A grade for me. I'm not trying to criticize you, but maybe try to be mature, respectful and as specific as you can within your support tickets. This will hopefully speed up the resolve in any issues you have.

    More on topic, I think that there is no problem requesting an email change via ticket. If I ever needed something to be solved fast, I would request a phone call.

    Well you must be part of the one percent because the majority of the people that play this game agree the customer service is horrible.

    You're telling me to be mature and specific? I'm sorry bit just because you disagree with me doesn't mean I'm being immature, you habe right to yoir opinions just like I do.


    And personally I do not like this, its wrong I shouldn't have to wait two weeks for an email change. I shouldn't have to ask at all this company needs to learn how connect with all their customers.

    Dunno why people cannot see this request to be not only adequate but even mandatory in an online business environment: Considering the need to change one's e-mail addy asap once your old one for whatever reason no longer is valid, this must not take long at all. Security measures for this exist aplenty, so that excuse won't help nice-talking a flawed system.

    I wouldn't go as far as to demand that the player should be able to change it at will, but if ZOS insists on this having to pass through them, it needs to be worked as fast as e.g. lifting invalid bans. Oh wait, those can wait ages already too...

    Maybe someone has to remind ZOS that getting a reputation up is much harder than ruining it in a couple of days with blatant amateurism (here: brainless mass banning). And the above is as important for players who lost access to their registered e-mail addy - which these days can happen unexpectedly to anyone !

    I don't care what their reasoning is, this is in the top 10 major mistakes for an mmo company and whether you agree or not doesn't matter because I guarantee with in two months this will change.

    It's default to 90 percent of mmos and should be here as well, period end of story.

    They will respond eventually and as a customer they do have to respond it's called good bushiness, it doesn't have to be here and it almost never is but it's till a great way of getting their attention if you don't like it don't post useless comments. Just ignore it and move on.
