Extreme Lag?

I haven't played for a couple days and logged in tonight. But it seems like I'm getting lag all the time now. Like the game will pause for 10 seconds, chat will pause, then suddenly everything starts working again. Also, I'm being kicked out of the game occasionally, and crafting takes awhile after hitting "E" to load up, quest conversations sometimes take awhile to respond. Is this the way things are now or do I need to start fixing my computer?

I got that after mass ban this afternoon still lingers but it's getting better

Check your addons. Myself and a few others have had similar dramas since the patch last night. Seems better with them disabled.
