this way even:
- if some1 get IPadress change the mac adress would be blocked.
- if some1 get IPadress and Mac adress changethere would be a cookie file preventing that game client to lunch
- when those solutions fails there wil be the lunch specific seqencethat would prevent bots to log
- and if that fails file in TEMP folder would prevent it

Or for people to continue to have their banks wiped until it suited you.
This is an EMERGENCY maintanance to fix 2 of the biggest bugs found in the game so far.
But hey, I guess if you can't play the game and eat your Easter eggs at 6 AM in the morning then it must be soooo inconvenuient for you.

Which part of the phrase "EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE" are you having trouble in understanding ?
Oh yes, I'm SURE everyone currently working in Zeni, on a public day off are THRILLED to do so. Come on people, it is clear they're not doing it to annoy people, but because the game is new, and it needs to be done.
Working myself within the IT field, I can tell you, none of us are happy to be working at odd hours, or during bank holidays. I'm on call until monday 8am. You can imagine how HAPPY I feel about it... Unable to go far from my house, go see friends and have a small party, or visit my family for the holidays. Yes, it is annoying not to be able to play, I agree to that. The game is new, and has a lot of unplanned issues, like any MMO.
I'll agree some could have been foreseen, and maybe prevented. But it is how it is now, and Zeni does seem to try their best to make things better. Give it time
edit: Actually not everyone is having today as a day off in europe. I should not be home, but since my employer depends heavilly on banks, and they ARE offwork, my employer forced everyone to take today off . So, you know, it's not like a general day off in europe .
Given what was said earlier in the week this is probably going to include the Bank Bug fix.steveb16_ESO46 wrote: »If it is such an emergency they should have done it earlier. You never ever patch on a public holiday, weekend or evening. If you want happy paying customers that is.

Oh this is actually great news, where do I need to put my offering to the server gods hamsters?
Does this mean I will be able to use the bank without fear? If that is so then all is forgiven.
But to anyone being objectionable, this is still scheduled maintenance, not an emergency shutdown!
