Only 90 ignore slots? Please

I filled up my entire ignore list in 2 weeks on commie gold spammers (I did the DNS lookup last night on all the sites, every single one, 100% of them are from the same communist country, so don't give me that). Since the ignore list doesn't sort by chronological order, I had to unignore everyone, and get flooded with the spammers I just recently ignored, on top of the 3 I wanted to ignore in the first place.

Give us more ignore slots if that's how you want us to deal with the commies.

lol arato... Selling gold in chat is much more capitalist than comunist... And +100500 on that investigator skills! DNS lookup! You have to be some kind of private eye... btw, did you know that hosting can be purchased and website can be hosted in any country you want?
    lol.
    Your friendly neighbourhood commie here!
GIVE ME BACK MY SWEET ROLL!!! :s

Ridiculous comments about "commies" aside, the OP is right in that we need more ignore slots. I'm coming close to hitting that number myself - and all of them have been ignored for gold spamming in chat or sending spam email, not because someone made some stupid comment in zone chat (in which case it would be filled within ten minutes). I realize weeding out and banning spammers isn't an easy thing to fix so at least give us all the ignore slots we need to take care of it ourselves.

Lol at the communist comments. Oh the uneducated masses irrational fear of communism and the capitalisms exploitation there off :p

But yeah I cant stand games with limited ignore lists. But on the other hand we shouldn't have to waste an ignore slot on a gold seller. They shouldn't exist in the first place, and if so only for a few posts.

You don't have to keep gold sellers on your ignore list. The accounts are banned very quickly (usually within a couple of hours).

But I agree, there needs to be a right click - report spam function, that AUTO ignores that account for that particular play session without taking up space on our ignore list. This is the system that Blizzard implemented. This is the ONE thing I will say that ESO needs to copy from WOW. This is one thing that WOW did right.

Wish there was a bug to make more ignore slots like the other dupe bug :cold_sweat:

Clear the list, fill it up again.

You do realize, of course, that the gold spammers you ignore today, do not exist in the game tomorrow (likely even within 15 minutes of you ignoring them), right?

And since you can add notes to ignored parties, you don't have an argument for accidentally unignoring real players you want to keep ignoring.

What I don't understand is how they launched, seemingly without any proactive measures in place to handle this. Especially since the gold sellers were active during Beta!

Gold spam isn't a new phenomenon, it's been around for more than a decade. There's no excuse for not being prepared to handle this at release.
Resistance is not futile! Say no to the Greed Collective™. Boycott Crown Crates.

"more than a decade", huh? Quite a lot longer than that.

Agreed with the opening post that we need a larger ignore list.
Also like to know if spammers are banned on the spot or massed banned on a specific day. Hoping by the end of this month gold spamming calms down if not eliminated. I do not enjoy data-entry while playing games and deleting a lot regular emails due to all my reports and also in-game gold spam emails.

The entire process needs to be streamlined dramatically. As it is now if someone sends you a guild invite where the guild is named after one of their stupid websites that holy hell why isn't someone DDOS'ing the crap out of these sites 24/7.. anyway.. you have to:

    1. Open notifications panel (n)
    2. Go to the spammer guild invite to the x next to it, click it and drop down menu to report
    3. Wait for the report form to load (took about 3 minutes just now when I got such a spam) and fill out the radio button "report player" drop down menu "report spam" and then fill in a text reason for why you're reporting, then click send email
    4. Now after sending email, you have to open notifications panel again (n)
    5. Now go to the same guild invite x, drop down the menu and click ignore player
    6. Now open the notifications panel AGAIN (n)
    7. Now go to the same guild invite x, drop down menu and click decline

Can't we have this trimmed down to:
    1. Open notifications panel (n)
    2. Go to spammer guild invite to the x next to it, click it and drop down menu to report gold spam
    3. Done, now the invite was declined, account was ignored and reported for gold spamming

But yes, I really do wish we had Liberty Prime. You youngins seem to forget 40 years of sedition, espionage, regime changes, proxy wars and nuclear war scares so easily. Reds are NOT your friends

The limit on the Ignore list wouldn't be so bad if banned accounts would be automatically removed from it.
Having to manually clear my ignore list every day is getting more and more tedious.
