Are gold spammers collecting your user ID's?

Hi All,

I say this as I've noted I'm getting guild and in-game mail while I'm not even logged on.

Normally, I'd expect to get blind mail while I'm running around in game. The fact that it hits my account while I'm not logged in tells me that the spammers have saved my account details.

This is a concern. It means that they could use a bot application on any new account that they hack/steal and spam out e-mails whenever they want. They could even share the account details with other people for the same types of purposes.

Joining the dots on this, it means that once your account details are captured, they will likely continue to spam mail and guild invites until they finally give up trying to sell gold in this game.

Great......this makes the ignore list almost pointless.

    They're already doing that yes.
Every day I get a "Hi,Gift" mail with a spammers gold selling advertisement, each time with a different account

Until ZOS provide some means of preventing receiving mail from people we don't know then yes, we'll be spammed forever. But every RMT-infested MMO is the same sadly.
