[Suggestion] Allow access to all char inventories at bank.

elderscrollsb16_ESO109
Managing inventory is a nightmare.

If at least we could access all bags while at bank it would avoid many, many logoff / logon + we must have all chars at a bank

It's too much time consuming.

P.S. did not found a better place in forum to post this...

+1 It also saves a little server stress not continually having thousands of people logging in and out all the time for muling.

I'd like to see some kind of ability like this.

Your confusion is confusing, it's patently obvious what the OP is asking for.

It's a nice idea but there's no way ZOS will do this, the horrible inventory management nightmare is how ZOS DESIGNED it, they want us to have waste hours on item shuffling, it's NOT an accident.

That would be so.. weird. It's just weird. No please.

I don't get why people are having such a hard time managing their inventory. I have three crafting skills and quite some other stuff packed away on two characters. I have 60 slots on one character, 100 on another and 90 in my bank.

I have more space than I need.

unnecesary and weird.. just do something like GW2 and make crafting components seperate in the bank
  • elderscrollsb16_ESO109
Weirder than a shared bank among characters from different alliance ?

Note that I didn't request more bank slot. Just an easier way to use the existing ones.

Don't know about GW2 system. Can you provide more details?

    Any other suggestion is welcome.

You guys have a serious hoarding problem. I am leveling 3 crafts and I have absolutely 0 space problems.

It's extremely simple. Just identify the things you don't need and vendor them. 400 pcs of leather? You don't need that. 20 different provisioning mats? You don't need that.

It's funny how people try to sell mats in the zone channel. It's not worth it. Everyone has them. Save your time and vendor that crap.
  • elderscrollsb16_ESO109
Should I repeat it again ? it's NOT about space.

Anyway, I barely see how this kind of change would negatively impact those that don't have bank issue.
(glad that you don't have problem with the inventory management, but some of us do play differently from you, yes, really)

If a change is good for some players and doesn't hurt the others, it must not be implemented because of those that don't need it ?

It kinda does hurt us, since it takes away the inventory management part of the game.

Dude. Inventory management is the natural limit for leveling crafts. You understand that? If you want to play differently than the game was intended to be played you cannot complain about the drawbacks.

Why should I purchase additional bank space if I can simply make an alt according to your suggestion? I still have 7 spots, woohoo!

It hurts me. I don't want people to run around having 8 professions and bank space is a good gold sink keeping the value of gold up.

Your suggestion has a huge negative impact. And to get that straight: asking for access to other characters inventory is like aking for more bank space.

I'm shocked that they needed to make a mess out of multiple game systems, just to restrict how fast you level crafts... Seems short-sighted.

I love the game but honestly inventory management is the worst thing about it - I don't for a second think that there should be bottomless inventory, but running back to the bank and logging in and out to shuffle stuff between characters is just not fun.

Every time I play the game it seems to be split half and half between actual questing, and inventory management. This morning when I went to log on, I was all keen to play and then remembered that I had to shuffle a load of goods around to leave my main character with enough space in her bag to go out and adventure and then it became a chore I had to do.

It wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't this bank bug, but I don't dare upgrade my bank or bag space any more til it is fixed, come on Zenimax, we're rooting for you to get this fixed so we can safely carry/store more stuff!!!

@ElliottXO have some arguments I can understand.

but do you really think this is fine the way it is right now, and there's no need nor no way to improve it ?

Though it's a lovely idea I don't think it'll be implemented for one simple reason: abusers. Gold farmers, gold sellers, guild bank looters, etc etc. It opens up a horrible can of worms the game is ill-equipped to deal with.

I have 8 characters, all but 2 have crafting professions, one on each of the six remaining characters. One of the 2 without a crafting profession is for storage only. Mostly for crafting upgrade materials. The second character without a crafting profession has keen eye in all but one craft and with the color glow from rune nodes, keen eye is not needed.

I have not upgraded any of my characters bag space, but I have upgraded my bank space to 90.

With all that said, I will say I have no issue with storage or accessing either my bank space or character bags. Only after unloading my gatherers bag will I switch characters and in many cases after unloading the first load I will go and get a second load and before logging off is when I will log in the other characters to collect the materials that the character uses.

If you cannot manage your inventory space then its your problem not ZOS's

@ebuntsb14_ESO you are using characters as banks. You have a banking problem and don't even know it.

    Sad, really.

Yes, yes we can. It's called feedback.

I could care less what you want. People should be allowed to craft all 6 professions. They have 8 characters!

    We need more bank space.

I disagree with the idea of accessing alt's stuff, we just need a personal bank for each character, like every other MMO.

However, why would making inventory management suck be needed to limit crafting rather than also having to spend character points and do research ?

(Of course, inventory management is only an issue if you want to craft for others, otherwise you just keep what you need. And research is only an issue if you want to craft for others, otherwise you just research what you need. And many of the craft points are also irrelevant if you are only trying to supply yourself. We're only being restricted from helping others with crafting, not helping ourselves)

You want more bank space? Buy it. You want to level 6 crafts at a time without making decisions? Then pay for it.

People want different things from a game. For some people (me included) the inventory management is one of the worst features of the game. (Excluding bugs, the worst). You don't agree, that is fine. A game should appeal to different people to succeed. No one is wrong on this.
