If you are getting error 209, please try the following:

First, please ensure you are accessing the game via the launcher, not the .exe file.
Try closing out of the launcher and re-open it, then run a repair.
If you try to repair and it does not work, please delete all .version files in the game's sub folders and try repair again.

*Please note that if you do delete all .version files, the launcher may require you to re-download the game.

Edit: for clarification"

-The first time I deleted only the .version in the launcher folder and that was enough to fix the problem.

I play for a hour, log off for a few hours, launch game and error 209 again. this time I delete all 3 .version files, I did not see Jessica's updated last sentence since it was not in the first time I read it. So now I have no option to repair only install, which is what I am doing.

So question. Is this the only solution to this problem "error 209", delete all .version files and hope you get a repair and not an install option?
