All my Gold is Gone (not the bank bug)

Logged out of my account yesterday with about 12k between two characters and logged back in to discover I was at 0 gold. I opened two tickets prior to this post thinking that it had only occured on a single character. I just checked and found that both my toons are now broke.

I've now opened about 6 tickets with customer service and they have all been sumarily closed. This is not part of the bank bug issue. My bank remains in tact. How do I go about getting this resolved?

Not sure if this will help but did you use the account hacked option? I would change passwords.

It could be a bug but it also could be something else. Did you note if your skills were reset. If so it is a bug.

If nothing other than gold is missing, sounds like a hacking issue more than a bug... Does anyone else have access to your acct? Bought gold recently? Etc?

Not a hacking issue. Account is in tact, nothing was sold. All skill points are in place. Just all of my gold is gone.

Probably not the best suggestion, but by chance did you play drunk last night? In all honestly, I'm guilty of being very "friendly" with the server when I'm drunk and I have lots of gold.

Probably not though in your case = /

lol, no. When I first discovered that I was out of gold I thought it was only on my main toon. It wasn't until a day later that I realized that all my characters were at 0 gold.

I believe this is how they're punishing people for buying gold(from what I have been told/read)......maybe you bought gold and it was reset??

Have you ever received like 10K+ from someone without giving them anything??
If so maybe it was a false flag perhaps.


**Not accusing you at all by the way, I highly doubt you did...it's just a suggestion seeing as how all other possible reasons have been explored**

I've heard about that a couple times, but no, not buying gold. In fact I've reported dozens of gold sellers (not that it matters in this regard.)

I've also never received gold in the mail. Everything I have was earned very slowly by selling whites & greens from treasure chests and random drops. And also from questing.

I'm stumped than, I say you send in a support ticket(they're pretty quick to answer) and see what they have to say about it.

The simple solution is to cancel your sub. We all are growing tired of these bugs that should've been addressed way on beta.

I experienced something similar myself (link to topic: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/74395/is-the-thieves-guild-secretely-operating-in-tamriel-because#latest). To summarize it, several thousand gold pieces vanished from my bag and I didn't even have to disconnect to lose them.

I've submitted my ticket over a week ago, but haven't seen a resolution yet, I hope you have better luck than me op on getting the issue solved. Also, I believe it's a rather rare bug and has nothing to do with "hackers" or gold sellers and the such.
