Everyone is having this problem.... THE FIX!
Close the launcher and restart it until it sees the new patch and starts the download. It took a half a dozen times for mine to start downloading it.

LunaRae✭✭✭✭Just chiming in that I'm also unable to log in. It either times out (roughly 60-120 seconds of requesting log in, or it says error 301 (3:1:1223:90098) Unable to connect to server. Please try again.
And the moment I hit quit my client started downloading something, and it then came up with error 209 patchmanifesterror_Versionfail - unable to determine current version.
Is running a repair even worth my time? I'm going back to work anyways so I'll just let it do its thing - but this sucks![:\](https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/resources/emoji/confused.png ":\")
