Do you mean early afternoon in EU or NA when you talk about the emergency maintenance that is happening now for EU Megaserver it's kind of past Early afternoon for EU now...

Do they understand that most of the people playing on the EU server are playing in Europe and not the US?

I find "early afternoon" to be a little insulting tbh. Don't really know why it bothers me so much, it just does. Give us information that makes sense for us in Europe. No NA time zones or "early afternoon" somewhere in the US; just plain ol GMT.

Yeah why the hell do we have to pay to beta test this game? If you released a buggy/unfinished game that's on you, us the players should not have to suffer for your crappy bug-filled game. It seems to be down every other day and the early headstart which i payed for I was only able to log in 2 days out of the 5 from all the downtime you guys had. I doubt I will be re-subbing to this crap.

I'm just being a bit ironic, I know they probably mean the US but it would be nice to have the EU maintenance in som sort of EU-time zone

All everyone is saying that as it's an EU megaserver times should be suited to Europeans regardless of the locale of the physical servers. It's now prime-time and been 2 hours since the servers went down. This fix could have waited until 5am tomorrow morning, regular maintenance time for Europe if the rumours are correct that it is a fix to do with hirelings not delivering mail. I don't think this is a major issue that needed to be fixed immediately.

Some of U.S citizens even do not know where Europe is not to mention time zones!! Saying like 12 p.m GMT have no meaning to them whatsoever. Perhaps we should be grateful and bow to our U.S overlords for having the right to play this game at all.

I believe the proper reply to "Which afternoon are they refering too?" is "'MURICA, **** YEAH!!!".

Or something like that. Its not only primetime now - its 2 hours into primetime. They brought down the servers at primetime, or very late afternoon.

    BST is British summer time.
Still, it's not early afternoon BST it's late afternoon/early evening so they must mean US time, which means a couple of hours from now... Which means prime time, again.

US and EU are half a world away. Would be a suggestion to run both along the proper timezones. And even if the patch is clearly bringing problems here, it still would not hurt you to actually post an update to tell us what is actually happening here.

Cannot agree more! Or at the very least specify from the start wich timezone it means when posting two very different.

what the ***. what means early evening. Zenimax, you get my money for 3 maybe even 6 month but defintly not more. Yes you have created a mmorpg different to others (other peps may say a mmo that feels like one of the earliest one, but YOUR CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND COMMUNICATION IS WORSER THAN EVER OTHER MMO.

It was because of stuff like this that I left SWTOR. I had hoped the European megaserver would mean that this would not be an issue. I was clearly wrong, as Zenimax have decided it's their timezone that matters, not the customers.
