Why is Messages Across Tamriel not fixed yet?

I don't see a fix anywhere in the patch notes and this is really frustrating because this is main story and I can't go into veteran content without this. I know it has worked for some people and good for you, but it's not working for me and I've sent tickets regarding this issue. I'm trying to remain calm here but this is extremely frustrating.

Lets hope that this downtime thats now will fix it. but yea i was thinking about this too when i read th epatch notes.

Well i rerolled a khajiit after a week of being stuck.
I hope this gets fixed for all of you (and my former main's sake)

There's no chance I'm re-rolling (a main i mean, an alt I will do). I spent way too much time leveling this character to just to make another main just because Zenimax doesn't feel like this quest is affecting enough people to warrant a fix.

They need to own up and fix this pronto because I'm really impatient when it comes to a major bug like this. If it was an unimportant quest bug that affects some random quest, then whatever, take your time fixing it. But when it's a HUGE BUG that prevents me from progressing into veteran content, then that should be priority number one, and I think I speak for everyone else who has this same exact issue that I do.

Yes and i totaly agree that its insane not to have this as a prio.
ANd i do feel the same now that i have to find all the lorebooks,all skyshards relevel crafting, and do all the stuff i have been working on since early access. But i have this feeling
( If they have know this bug from April the 2nd "thats the earliset case i know" and they have not fixed it yet, its going to take a long time before they do)

I/We have already pointed out WHAT bugs out the quests and how it was done etc etc many many times without getting a response from them.

It just makes them look so bad. Especially when you look at the patch notes which address stupid issues like the Doshia nerf which does not even block progress and compare it to this one which is a BIG bug, it's just sad. I'm gonna bump this thread to hell until I get a developer to comment on it because this is just sad.

Well im all up for helping you bumping it as i want to see it solved to or atleast a response from ZoS. + i get yummy posts for it.

So Zos Get you S together and fix this or atleast update us on it.

This quest actually is NOT needed in order to progress in Coldharbour. The work around is to simply find a friend or a guild mate to port to Coldharbour. Once they're there you can use the "Travel To Player" function and begin the quest from the groundskeeper as normal.

Yeah I finished most of coldharbour doing this but I can't get into my veteran ranks without finishing main story.

This quest should have no effect on your progression and completion of Coldharbour. If you're unable to access the veteran content it would be due to a different cause.

Coldharbour zone quests != [not equal] part of the main story

I had this exact problem on the PTS. Vanus was no where to be found to open the portal for me. But I completed the rest of the quests and progressed through to veteran content without a problem.

So the "God of Schemes" broken quest is not on your top quest fix? Where in the heck are your priorites? IT is game breaking and 100's of players cannot progress to veteren content, myself included.

Great it's 21.04 and this quest just bugged for me also. Its the only quest i have left and i don't know how to progress now.

I have NEVER seen a bunch of greater entitlement minded whiners. Relax, slow down, your getting to VR10 will just be a bit later than the rest. Until then, why don't you try and think of someone other than yourself in a pixel related alternate reality. I can't flame you worse than this, since I am trying to respect Zen's design and terms, but seriously. Chill.
