I would love to know how many we are playing at the moment? I just love the game, and would find it very interesting to see the post launch numbers.

1. The numbers will never be posted truthfully
2. Until first round of subscriptions are billed, numbers are artificially boosted
3. Given billing issues, account creation issues, etc, even first billing will undoubtedly be incorrect
4. Only numbers ever given to the public by any company are always "twisted" to make it look better than it really is

Been gaming for many, many years... it's the same in the gaming industry as many others, only show what makes you look good. It would take an independent study group to find the real information.

With all the gold selling and botting accounts that would be rather pointless.
I would like to see those stats, but there's no way for showing the actual values at the moment.

That may be, but they set the president when they showed us the stats from the beta and in creating the game. Given it may have been inflated or twisted somewhat. But then again, we are just customers.

Apparently Zenimax/Bethesda never give out sales figures or the like. Even if the title is a huge success (Dishonoured). This is likely to be something we'll never know sadly. The benefits of not having shareholders to suck up to I guess :P

Estimating a drop to half the playerbase at the end of this month. The quality of this game is basically that of a f2p except someone decided it should have a sub. I don't think the players will agree.
