"My fix" for last night's log-in nightmare

As many of you encountered, last night ended with a shutdown after several hours of frustrating log-in problems and lag.

Several times my client crashed after finally getting into the game. Finally on the character select screen I disabled all of my addons (yes they were all up to date) and I was able to log-in immediately and stayed online with no issues at all. Unfortunately they shut the servers down 15 minutes later.

After I got back in I enabled all of my addons and reloaded my ui. It was night and day. If it happens again, hope this helps you all.

Interesting. I've been fighting the Unknown Error thing for a little more than 24 hours, and getting rid of my addons helped me finally be able to log in. Well, there's that problem solved.

Of course, enabling my addons/reloading my UI booted me back with an unknown error, but getting rid of them fixed the problem once again.

My fix was to go watch a movie instead :P
