Dungeon XP bug or is this for real??

I love doing dungeons with my friends and guildies. I was really looking forward to and was loving the challenge in the dungeons and then looked at my XP bar thinking, 'surely I've gotten some decent XP for this!' only to realize that no.. I hadn't gotten anything! I've done some quests and exploring and they're fun to but I really wish dungeons gave some at least viable XP gains! Surely this must be some kind of bug where you don't get barely ANY XP at all in dungeons!!! My boyfriend only really likes PvP and tanking dungeons and so I guess he's screwed over in leveling as well 
Like I want to quest and explore but I also REALLY want to dungeon! I thought you were supposed to be able to have the option of questing, pvping, or dungeoning..? Like wasn't that one of the marketing themes for this game.. doing what you want and trying new things..?

Is dungeon exp bugged or working as intended?

That's correct Artharion. The reasons behind the dungeon exp nerf are also covered in other posts.
If dungeon exp cannot be reactivated due to players exploiting fundamental game design, an interim workaround is to make the current dungeon quests repeatable.
This would allow dungeons to remain part of a varied levelling process.0 -
limeli8✭✭✭at veteran level you get pretty good vet exp of dungeon bosses, and when u do t2 dungeons at vr8 or so exp is crazy good, i did vr9 to vr10 in 1 day just running t2 with friends, lol 55k exp per boss. That is excellent news Limeli8 and I can't wait to enjoy the veteran content.
The post regards pre-50 content and the fact that dungeons cannot be used for leveling. Particularly, this makes healing builds unviable pre-50.1
