How does it make sense? they release a brand spanking new maintenance table saying its effective immediately and then come back and tell us maintenance is going to be Friday.....
Also no mention of a patch to fix game breaking bugs. If they had a fix or patch for it, that should be an emergency patch and be applied now. This leads me to believe nothing is fixed and this will be a standard Maintenance.
The level of fail being displayed by ZOS is absurd.
PS. Know what can fix this ZoS? better communication with the player base.

I don't get the issue? They've done everything we EU players have asked. Hell we've even been given a 5am maintenance time so it will never effect prime time playing? What more could you want?

Seems liek you just want to find things to complain about. Posting a new downtime schedule and when emergency patches have nothing to do with each other. And posting that you believe that nothing is or will be fixed is absurd. They've already had several maintenance that fixed both emergency and "game breaking" bugs and those were unscheduled and people complained about those maintenance.

Maybe they've talk to the dev and they said we should several "game breaking" fixes ready and tested. But dont announce it yet until we're sure. Eastern, just FYI my complaint is not about being able to play during that time, I'll be well asleep during maintenance time. I'd lose playing time if they did it now if they actually have a patch to fix the progress blocking bugs but it would be worth it.
My complaint is the inconsistency and just disconnect they seem to have with each other and us. SuperScrubby✭✭✭While I understand the logic behind the OP's post, like others I cannot agree. Yes I understand that they produced a schedule, but if they found a better solution then they should go with that. It allows them to patch before the weekend when the population increases dramatically.
It's like this. You tell your buddy that you're going to the store to pick up some ice cold Keystone light, however when you're at the store you find some Pabst Blue Ribbon on sale for the same price. Everyone knows Pabst is waaaay better than Keystone because well they won a blue ribbon of course. You come back with some nice cold PBR, everyone wins. So while Zeni said 1 time, but then realized another time was better and posted a notice ahead of it does make it like they did a bait and switch, but if it ultimately is a better time for the MAJORITY of people then they should by all means do that. As long as they don't alienate the minority ALL the time.4 -

The longer between patches the more they have time to fix stuff.
Patch material has to go through Quality Assurance before they install it on the server.
People may complain about the time between patches, but they would complain more if the servers were down for 4-6 hours each day so they could fix one and only one problem.

Regular maintenance is to fix bugs/tweak features that are not game-breaking. Well I suppose it depends on how you define 'game-breaking'. Most of the quest bugs are not game-breaking and wouldn't require an emergency fix.¸.·´¯`·.´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸><(((º>0 -

It's 10pm Friday night for Australians. For many of us, thats about the time we have spent enough quality time with the missus that she is happy and it's now time to crack open a 6 pack or a bottle of vino and get into some gaming.
I agree with OP, if its a patch to fix game breaking bugs, release it now, otherwise stick to schedule.1 -
We needed patch, if you would check coldharbourin last minutes, there were a lot of people praying for letting us continue main quest, because we have bothing to do in the game.
So Friday, Saturday, Monday, doesn't matter, we need patches until the game will be playable.1 -

Complaining about 6am maintenance on Friday seems just complaining in sake of complaining. It has to be unplanned maintenance to fix some things that are must. I'm sure in case just scheduled maintenance would be performed OP would complain why there is no unplanned when something is totally broken and should be fixed immediately.

If their is a patch they need to communicate that and it should be released in an emergency patch as it should fix game breaking bugs.

I don't have a problem with 5am either but I seem to remember a previous "unexpected" patch that took like 16 hours lol. With no e.t.a on server uptime this could potentially suck for me since tomorrow is my only day off and I just got home from work and saw this.0 -
