Access Code for Another Computer

Really...

Either fix this feature of remove it completely. The other night I tried to log in with my desktop (that has been playing ESO since release) and I was being required to put in an access code. At least 24 hours later I got the code I needed to login. Within those 24 hours I was able to login without the Access Code message showing up. Broken?

I'm now trying to access the game from my laptop and been waiting for this damn email for well over 20 minutes now. I only expect this message after 20+ hours so that all the email is useful for is to delete it immediately. This is absolutely absurd.

Either fix it or remove it. You could always make an authenticator to attach to the account like other MMO's do that way we can be the ones decided if we want security or not. I know you've got a lot of bugs in the game and I appreciate you working hard to fix all of them however this is a possible game-breaking one if you keep getting this message over and over (especially if you need to use 2 different computers)

    I have the same issue. but the problem i also have is that the codes are also invalid when the do arrive.. wonderfull...

    Apparently a work around of this issue is to just wait the 10 minutes and try logging in. It's been allowing me in without a code

    I finally found a solution after working with ESO support. You have to uncheck the Remember Account Name check box before entering your password. As soon as we did that, my fiancé got an email with a code immediately.

    well... i'm not getting any emails... and support is ignoring me... for about a week now...
    so... i decided to post this on every post i find about "Access Code" (no matter how old) till the support decides to do its work...

    as an info...
    i got such an email when i played on the beta...
    as i didn't really have the time to do it earlier... i activated my account about a week ago... and wasn't able to login due to this problem...
    so i already lost a week of my play time i already payed for (i did a pre-order on the digital emperial edition...)
    so now i'm disappointed by the lack of support....
    anyway...

    Just built a new computer and finally got my client updated. I've been waiting for this damn access code for half a day. Tried checking/unchecking the Remember Account Name and hasn't done any good.

    If this keeps up I'm unsubbing and just sticking to Diablo 3 :expressionless:

    I believe you should not get the option the check the remember my account name unless it is your "home" (trusted) computer.
    You will see two icons above your username, a Home Icon and a Lock Icon.
    Maybe change it to lock and try and log in and wait for your code in the meantime.
    When you enter the code you can change it to Home.
