Question about armor rating in PvP.

Why when I go to PvP my armor rating get down to 700 If I have more than 1000 in PvE?.

I also noticed something similar when I go to Cyrodiil my armor buff seems to not be working (lightning form) the magic resist applies but in the character sheet my armor value doesn't change.

Yep, the only "buff" that works is heavy armor passive skill that increase armor percent.

I think the system was designed to get lowbies 'up' to a level whereby they could fight (700). I don't think it was intended to reduce Armor for those above 700, so I assume this will be fixed - sounds like an unintended 'bug'.
At level 50 VR1 I believe you no longer get this PVP 'Buff' when you go to Cyrodil, so all your stats will start working as normal.

Can we get a confirmation that armor should not be lowered to 700 if you are over 700 in Cyrodil?

I am level 45, my armour goes from over 1000+ to 847 every time i enter Cyrodiil. As a tank, it saddens me.

I wasn't experiencing this when I was below veteran rank and am not experiencing it while being veteran rank, only thing being "bolstered" is my HP in Cyrodiil:

I tought its because lower lvl will have more chance, so in pvp armor is downgraded.
