MAINQUEST - GOD OF SCHEMES - MOLAG BAL BUGGED.

Hi i already reported the bug, but i still without a answer.

When i kill the Molag Bal, he body still on the ground and nothing more happend. When i try relog to exit the quest, after a enter again in the quest, two Molag Bal appear for me.

ok guys i had this problem, first relog and get out of combat, teleport out to a wayshrine after you login and redo the quest, fixed it for me, the quest isnt long anyway, i am now VR2.

If you didn't understand what i said, to reset the character is to travel to a wayshrine manually. To do this, follow the steps below:
Open the Map up by pressing the [M] key.
Once the Map appears, look for Quests on the right-hand side.
Click on the map pin icon on the list of icons at the top.
Select a desired destination.
The map of that area should appear, and all discovered wayshrines in that region should be visible.
Click on a wayshrine to return to that region. This will have a gold cost. Then just go back to the habourage to redo the quest

i redo the quest, but the problem still appear. I tried to do the quest 3 times. but aways is the same problem.

hey you have to leave the quest completely, make sure to teleport out to glenumbra, and another thing at 10% don't hit him anymore, just let him attack you, don't bring his health below 1% or he will be bugged. Let him attack you when he is at 10% health.

i tried, i put he at 10% and waited...after a few minutes i hit him again...one time, and he fell again and BUGGED.

hmm, he should attack you at around 10% health and below, dont block him or w/e, and he will grab you & the quest should be complete then.

i must stay with 10% of life ? or he must stay with 10% ? when he got 10% i wait he hit me and nothing happend.

It worked for me when he was at 9%, I stopped attacking him and then a final cut scene happened.

Same thing happened to me. At the end of the fight it played an animation of killing him with a sword of light, but then he just bugged out and stands there. The climax of the main quest is pretty much the worst possible place for a gamebreaking bug.

man, everywhere I look for info on this bug they're talking about the end of the fight, I've tried the quest 4 times now and i can't even get to the fight

lord butterfingers here keeps pickling me up at the start of the fight and dropping me for instagib and then when i revive he just stands there and i can't fight him when i try relogging he becomes the lord of affection and he just sticks in a loop of roaring in my face while holding me

I take it you activated the ultimate ability that makes him drop you? You get a special ultimate in this quest.

That I have to agree, it's pathetic how many game-breaking scripting bugs there are in this game, and still there two months after release.

It is pretty spectacular how inept this zos team is. I give them a bit of slack for being rookies but they are getting worse and not improving. Every Patch seems to break more than it fixes now.

Hey guys, same problem here.

I've attempted this quest about 7 times now, and every time I get past the superman part blasting through walls and I approach Mr. Bal, he indefinitely picks me up; or does so and then drops me to my doom/bugged fate. This is posted left and right, so a lot of us are stuck. But I'm at that point where if I want to keep playing the game, I might as well remake a new character because my main is stuck at V1 and unable to even "attempt" the fight with Molag Bal due to the perma-grab bug. The aforementioned fix above does not work, at least for me, and I've sacrificed each of the companions and released/doomed Mannimarco to see if that would fix it. Strange how such a great game can be crippled by something so simple. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated, but at this point I will either remake a character and wait for a patch (that actually does something, good joke right?) or cancel my sub.

i am facing the same issues.....went thru it 7 times (and retrying from WP after being dropped, about 10 times) and always the same of 3 results.
-picked up, not dropped (waited 20 minutes)
-picked up, die.
-ignored.
