24 Hours Before I take My Money Elsewhere!

My game hasn't even been shipped yet! So Zenimax, how can I enter a game code to set up a subscription if I don't have that code? Here's a simple solution, make a f***ing SUBSCRIPTION TAB. I'd be more than happy to set up a subscription and give you guys more of my money but you're making it extremely difficult to do so.

You guys f***ed up and you haven't said a damn thing to the thousands of people with somewhat the same Issue. This is the only response I received when I submitted a ticket :
"Greetings Hero of Tamriel!

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Team.

Sorry to hear your are still awaiting the delivery of your physical copy of The Elder Scrolls Online : Imperial Edition (Great choice by the way).

I have escalated your issue to the relevant department, who will be in contact with you shortly with a solution so you can get back to enjoying the game.

Warm Regards,
Mark
The Elder Scrolls Online Team
I understand you're working on it but it's been 2 days now and you have posted no NEW updates on the issue. What, you can disable the mailboxes the first pre release day but you can't fix this??

Which is why I'm giving you guys till 4/9/14 1:30pm EST to fix this issue or at least COMMENT on the issue at hand or I am going to cancel my $105.99 order and I will happily return to an MMO where I can play when I want at any giving time of the day with a hassle.

24 Hours Zenimax 24 Hours.

I feel like there is a new one of these posts every 15 minutes or so. Can't you all use the same thread?

Also, you made the choice to purchase a physical copy through Amazon. The merchant you purchase from is responsible for these delays. Chances are they oversold the product which is why they are going out slow.

A guy here in California used to sell pre-orders gaming stuff, and he would sell and sell and sell and then when the product came he'd order 500 units and the distributor would be like, sorry dude, we can only send 25 today and 25 day after tomorrow, and will likely have most of the stock in by next week, and the rest by the week after.

Distribution channels suck, especially on large releases. That is why I buy digital from the manufacturer when I can. You don't get the pretty toys, but you do get the product on time.

There's no sticky post of known issues. The older threads drop off the front page because we're caught in a war of complaining about problems, and having problems debunked.

So, yeah, everyone that has an issue says "oh, i must be the first" and comes here. And the few that aren't saying that need to vent, so as to avoid killing the CSR rep over the phone via their mind. :P
What do you gain by criticizing a CSR complaint?

Not another one of these threads - aim your rage at Amazon not Zenimax! Anyway, the latest update from Zenimax on the situation to help all you people out there:

    Hi everyone,

Amazon has confirmed to us today that customers affected by the delayed Imperial Edition shipment will be offered an Amazon credit amount. Amazon also confirmed that they are currently sending out emails including details to those affected, starting today, so please keep an eye out.

Amazon doesn't even matter. They can take 6 months to deliver it to me. The Gamestop, Walmart,Target and Best Buy where I live didn't have it so I couldn't reserve it, my only OTHER CHOICE was Amazon.

Yes I know they suck but I had no option unless I got a copy where it didn't come with toys, and I like toys :)

The problem is I CAN'T SET UP A SUBSCRIPTION WITHOUT A CODE. If you all can point me in the direction where I can set up a SUBSCRIPTION without having to put in a CODE it would be greatly appreciated :)

unfortunately that would not be possible, what is to say that you setup a subscription and can access then cancel your order to save yourself the £90 initial outlay lol

I think it's funny that the poster chose the dealer, chose the delivery service (and probably chose the slowest because he was cheap), and Zenimax is to blame.

I'm sure in 24 hours they'll be saying "We were one account short of the total we need to stay in business. If only we had saved that one customer."

We were doing this. But Zenimax deleted a couple large threads regarding this issue. It's hard to post in an ongoing thread that no longer exists.

I'm in the group of people who preordered the collector's edition on January 31st and still have not received a copy. Zenimax tells me to contact Amazon. Amazon tells me that Zenimax got them their inventory late. They both blame the other. Which company is dropping the ball? All I can do is look at the responses from their support teams:

Amazon has tried to remedy the issue and has tried to work with me.

Zenimax sends me 2-day delayed form responses through email.

Those of us who watch the customer support section see that a lot.

At this point a search for threads about "preorder" problems in this forum is huge and varied because everyone comes in here assuming that they are either the only ones or are in some way special and will get priority treatment of they open a new thread.

There is even a thread called "Amazon delivery solution" that probably contains useful information. However, it is apparent that Amazon has been giving people heartburn for several days now.

You will get your game in a couple of days. Long wait, I know, but you have a couple of options.

You can cancel or return the Amazon one and buy the current digital version, which could get you in the door before the end of the day. You might need to create a new ESO account to do that if your current one thinks you are already an owner.

You can simply wait for Amazon to get you your box. This will get you what you ordered, but you will have to have patience because Amazon is your problem, not Zenimax.

Remember, any indecision becomes decision with time.

It is probably some shipping company between China and the US that is to blame for Amazon not having the product. Often manufacturers have units direct dropped to Amazon rather than send it through wholesalers.

Most large shipments (and we're talking this is an order of a hundred thousand units) go by sea and then train (air is way to expensive). So for instance Amazon on the West Coast might have had it yesterday and on the East Coast their warehouses wouldn't have it till tomorrow or the next day or even the day after that (and these days are business days not including weekends).

    Boas ;)

Im also waiting my game to arrive from Fnac Portugal. I called them already on the phone, they told they only got the imperial edition so far and are still waiting for the standard edition to arrive, they estimate to arrive this week, but i pre order alot of games, and this is the 1st time i see a game not available here at launch day.

    Someone messed up big time.

It's pretty stupid if you think about it. You can't access the game without they releasing the server, you can't do nothing. So why wasn't the pre-orders shipped like 10 days ago, people would get it, have enough time to put their codes, install the game, patch the game, etc. That was a very amateur operation and one did not need past experience to realize that, just common sense.

Now the people that PRE-ordered, PREVIOUSLY ORDERED before anyone else, and paid the MOST EXPENSIVE price of all editions to get the COLLECTOR'S EDITION, are being put through this ordeal. I'm sorry but in my business all customers must be treated equal but of course I'll smile more to the person that spends the most. Ridiculous, and I'm a fanboy.

Grieves me to see people in this situation, I want the game to be a sucess and this will hurt the reputation...for the ones looking to refund all I can say is the game is worth it.

Are you Implying that the OP was able to order the C.E Straight From Zos? and what makes you think he chose to be cheap with shipping? He didn't get the cheapest version of the game, I ordered same day shipping which is rarely ever same day ,Mine was not, I Have my Copy now but I Understand the anger People have when you pay for something and get nothing, YOU may be use to that but we are not. What if God forbid, you forget or mess up your bills for the month and cant pay the sub? Do you think Zos will be as forgiving? its hard enough for paying customers. I am a Zos defender as well but i can still see why people are mad.

Kind of hard to cancel an order that has already been shipped isn't it Einstein.
And no, I wanted a physical edition.
The whole reason I pre-ordered was to get the perks associated with that....
Kind of loose out on that too if I cancel, don't I?
