My lancher is bugged from "launch day preparation patch" - Now i cannot log in and need to reinstall

I need to re-download and re-install the entire game. Why?? I have no idea. It was launching fine directly from the computer file. Now all of a sudden its not working, which pretty much means an entire day of downloading and installing.
