Would this be a possible feature to add to the game?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, or if it'll even get read by the right people, but I'm going to suggest it anyway in the fond hope it might be implemented in game.

You can 'ignore player' on the chat screen, but it's not really ignoring the player, it's ignoring that particular character. Is there any way to add an 'ignore account', which would block communication from all current and to be created characters from that account?

If you're getting hassle from a player, this would solve this issue, and it would also save 90% of the community from the headache of gold spammers, maybe not completely but it'd be a big help and cut down the amount of spam we're all subject to by a great deal.

As far as I know, the ignore feature already ignores the account. I am unsure if you can ignore a particular player.

When you ignore a person in the chat, you'll see it say [@BLAH ignored] so you are ignoring the entire account/player so you won't see anything from any of their characters.

As stated, you are already ignoring the entire account. If you watch your ignore list, it will say @<name> meaning it's account wide.
The problem with gold spammers is that they simply change one letter around to avoid the ignore list.
