Pets as Inventory Items

BOSPaladin
Yeah, I'm one of those dweebs that loves vanity pets. So we only have the three so far, and it's really not a big deal, I'm just wondering why a similar functionality to the mounting system here / WoW's pet journal could not be implemented. If there are going to be more vanity pets in the future - I hope - then I would love to see them not take up all my bank and inventory space. :(

Pets, CE maps and Trophy items shouldn't take up a slot - ZOS should flag them as quest items (this would help also with accidentaly selling them).

I'd settle for something similar to Guild Wars 2's collectible items tab where things like pets, crafting mats etc are stored in an account-wide tab so that each of your characters can simply "withdraw" whatever they need. This then allows the actual bank to be used for storing other valuable items.

Great idea, sign me up for this!

I loved WoW's system for mounts and pets but I think it's completely unnecessary right now as we only have 3 pets and a handful of horses.

They could and should be tagged as "vanity" or "collectibles" in the inventory so that they don't take space and can't be accidentally sold though.

Edit: As pointed out by a moderator yesterday, this idea should be sent via the "feedback" option in-game as there is currently no forums dedicated to that purpose.
