Crafting Helmet Removal - Losing Helmet from inventory! (3 times in a row.)

Hello,

Occasionally when I go into the crafting menu (where it removes your helmet) the game destroys my helmet completely. I also have a suspicion that it might be taking up it's own slot in my inventory, but it's invisible so I can't remove it (if it is there.)

I've lost my helm to this glitch 3 times at least, I've sent a bug report but not getting any response.

Can I please get some solutions / compensation?

I had the same problem. I did not write a bug report, but asked for help ingame (email). Support contacted me and told me that support will restore the helmet (this is still in progress).

Happened to me since beta. Sent bug reports then, i was hoping it was fixed. Seen it happen frequently on light armors. Haven't had the issue yet with a heavy helmet, if this helps in any way.

It's happened several times to my characters, .

It seems to happen when I'm wearing self crafted helm, and then I'll attempt to improve an item, if a that fails then bye bye helm. .

So lately I just remove the self crafted items when I attempt to do that action.

That's so odd, I've been paying more attention when I craft lately and it no longer removes my helmet while crafting. I've never lost one either. Not sure what would cause this issue. It use to remove my helmet then I read these posts and paid more attention, now I always have my helmet on. Hmm

It happened to me too when I changed the settings to *hide helmet* as appearance... but when I changed it back so my helmet shows then no problem. It may be a coincidence but I lost it three times in a row too on the hidden helm settings and none otherwise
