I am downloading updates and patches, but am concerned something is not getting updated correctly

    Have the same problem, currently downloading game to a different hard drive while I wait on the phone over hour.

    If the game still loads and lets you log in, I wouldn't worry too much. If you can't log in, try to write down your error code.
