Same here. Every time I hit "Play" in the character selection list, it'll load a few seconds, then I get returned to the login screen with a vague error message
"An unknown error has occured."

50% of the time I get past login, but then I get stuck at the character screen

No, endless load cycles to get into Cyrodiil.

However this isn't something new, same issues every day from around 18:30 - 22:30 which I can only assume is due to server load?

I can login but after selecting a character and pressing 'play' the loading screen never ends.

I am having the same issue and it's 10:25 pm here right now. As soon as I hit "Play" it shows the ESO-Donut for a few moments and then kicks me back to the Account-Login with "unknown error".... (I was one of those people who lost bank space, items and received additional Pre-Order / CE E-Mails)

Many of us have said this for a long time. And we still say it: Megaservers will only last for a few months, max. It'll be either divide the load on several regional servers, or lose subs. Hopefully they'll choose to keep the subs.

I also lost bank space & items & got emails giving me a pet again etc etc, proper annoying a day after I signed up for 6 month sub at once "which is pretty cheap to be fair £40? " but ye did you sort out this matter Rhian?

Been trying ever since the servers were 'up and available for play' over 3 hours ago. Unsuccessfully spamming the login server wasn't exactly what I had planned for this evening...

Yep I posted two tickets - one for the lost bank space and another one for the additional e-mails with the content...

I also have subscribed the Game for 6 months... so it couldn't and shouldn't have been anything based on the "end of early access". Well I just got in, after I tried logging in again - but before I could login to my account I was now asked to verify by entering a code they send me by mail. Now it seems Ok.
