Pre-Paid Visa/Mastercard?

kaptainkush64
I see some reports of them not working, and Im thinking of going to get one while I wait for the time cards. Has anyone tried them with success?

Pre-paid cards have a tendency to not work internationally, which may or may not be the issue for some people, such as the European fanbase, and maybe even the Canadian players, not sure about that one. I learned that when I was buying the PC version of Minecraft the other month, oddly enough.

As long as you're in the US, you shouldn't have any problems with pre-paid debit cards.

I use a pre paid / reloadable debit card for all my online gaming payments. My reasoning is that if the card number ever gets hijacked they can only steal what's on the card at the time and not wreck my credit score. I've used one for years, never had a company that wouldn't accept it. Including ZOS. Used it to buy my digital Imperial Edition as well as setting up my subscription plan. Shouldn't be any problem for you.

That's great to hear, NyteJade! Instead of waiting for the game time card to be released to retailers, I think I'll go this route instead. Gets me in game far sooner.

    :)

this is what i did, it was decent alternative and I should still have that money on the card to buy a time card and just run from there
