Let me just start off by saying that this is a rant and in case you trolls ask, I am mad.
So, I purchased this game with the idea that there was a 30 free trial. I would think this isn't much to ask for considering I paid $80 on the digital copy of the game. Well, it turns out you need to setup a payment plan before you get your "free" 30 days.....
Please, I have from Sunday to Tuesday to play this game and then I can't play for another week as I am going to Florida for a Pharmacy School interview (already accepted at another school, this is just my first choice). That being said, my time as a "gamer" is coming to an end so I envisioned getting this game and playing up to mid August when my classes start in Pharmacy School. Everyday counts and I am entitled to a service I paid for, I am not being irrational as I am simply demanding what was promised to me.
I do not like putting anything on credit cards that is not necessary and at this point in my life a game certainly isn't a necessity. I intended to buy pre-paid cards like I did in my younger years while I played Runescape. I don't understand why the game demands such a payment but fails to provide such a service for pre-paid card buyers. I can't get an ESO time card in a 7/11 or Gamestop yet so why include it as an option?
To sum it up:
I am extremely disappointed and this may turn me off from getting a subscription altogether. Get your sheet straight next time you launch a game. I don't care if other MMO's operate like this. I am not an avid gamer by any means so I wouldn't know but this is ridiculous.
