My login info is suddenly invalid in-game?

So I was playing, perfectly normal, when suddenly everything on-screen vanished, leaving me to stare at a cloudy skybox. For some odd reason, my FPS also dropped from around 40 to 5 when this happened. I logged off my character, and the FPS problem persisted, so I decided to exit and restart the game. However, when I tried to log back on after relaunching, it said my login info was incorrect. I tried putting my password in 10 more times, being as careful as possible, with no luck. I then logged in, successfully, to my account page, changed the password, and restarted the game. Even now, it keeps saying my login info is incorrect. I can't play the game until this resolves itself, so I really hope I can find out why it's happening.
